Amish White Bread

One of the things that I enjoy doing in my spare time during the fall and winter months is baking bread. Just recently I stumbled upon this recipe. It has to be some of the fluffiest bread that I have ever made.

The only changes that I made to the recipe were:

1) Cutting the sugar to 1/4 c.
2) Using all-purpose flour instead of bread flour
3) Using a beaten egg for a wash to receive a golden, crispy crust, and,
4) Slathering the bread with butter as soon as it got out of the oven.

Hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I have and here are some pictures that I took with my little sister's $20 camera so that you can get a general idea of what the bread looked like. ;)
